Taylor Babec, first-year assistant coach
Babec currently is the Hope College Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. She was part of the 2024 team that went 29-3, with a loss in the National Semi-Finals to Juniata. Babec was a four-year letterwinner at Illinois Wesleyan University as a middle hitter. Babec finished her career ranked 14th in program history with an average of 0.70 blocks per set. Babec graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Babec earned Academic All-Collegiate Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin honors three consecutive seasons (2023, 2022 and 2021).
