2022 18 Black

AAU 18 Premier

The 2022 18 Black team captured the 18 Premier title by beating Sports Performance 18 Kahl out of Illinois in a 3 set thriller! The team came back after losing the 1st set to take sets 2 and 3. Consistent passing and aggressive play at the net prevailed for 18 Black as they took home the title 15-13 on a big swing with many athletes, coaches, and families from the club cheering loudly from the stands and behind the bench! This was coach Joe Steenhuysen’s 2nd national championship as a head coach.

2022 15 Red

AAU 15 Classic

The 2022 15 Red team took home the 15 Classic title in convincing fashion over OK Premier 15 Diamonds from Oklahoma. Consistent first ball contact skills in both serve receive and from the service line allowed 15 Red to run their middles throughout the tournament. The constant presence of the middle attack and service pressure pushed 15 Red through tight matches in the quarter and semi final matches! This was coach Jenna Asper’s 1st national championship as a head coach. 

2021 16 Red

AAU 16 Classic

The 2021 16 Red team played their best volleyball of the season over the 4 days of the national championships in order to prevail as the 16 Classic National Champs! A balanced offensive attack made them hard to defend and coupled with their high efficiency in serve receive teams were constantly trying to just keep up with the onslaught at the net. 16 Red just kept getting better throughout the tournament and put together their most complete match in the championship taking down SA Elite 161 Navy from San Antonio in convincing fashion! This was coach Jeff Butler’s 1st national championship as a head coach. 

2017 16 Black

AAU 16 Premier

The 2017 16 Black team took down Crossfire MN 16-1 in a high powered offensive showdown to claim the 16 Premier national championship! 16 Black came into the tournament as the 19 seed but quickly showed they were playing at a higher level as they coasted through days 1 and 2. On day 3 they upset the top seed of the tournament in a thrilling 19-17 third set which set up a favorable draw for bracket play on day 4. 16 Black took advantage and cruised to the finals where a few key plays blocking and defending were the difference down the stretch to claiming the title. This was coach Joe Steenhuysen’s 1st national championship as a head coach.

2017 15 Black

AAU 16 Club

The 2017 15 Black team out ball controlled Criollas 16U- Papo to claim the 16 Club national championship! The team had 2 freshmen too old to play in the 15s divisions so played up in 16s and were up to the task as they only dropped 1 set on their way to the title! The semifinal match against Northern Lights was the toughest match of the tournament but smart setting decisions and big time swings on the pins turned the tide in the 3rd set to push 15 Black through. This was coach Russ Carney’s 1st national championship as a head coach.

2007 16 Black

USAV 16 Club

The 2007 16 Black team won the 16 Club division at USAV nationals to claim the club’s first national championship. They took down Fusion 16 Blue out of Illinois in the title match after outlasting Oklahoma Peak 16-1s in a thrilling semifinal match where a key ace flipped the script and pushed 16 Black to match point! The team then used that momentum to prevail in a convincing fashion in the finals! This was coach Tracy Kirk’s 1st national championship as a head coach.
