FaR Out Beer Festival

We serve, so kids can serve too! FaR Out will be hosting their inaugural FaR Out Beer Festival on April 26th. 

Every year FaR Out gifts over $20,000 to families in scholarships to play club volleyball. We hope to be able to provide even more families with the opportunity to play, for which this event was created for. More information regarding the event will be available soon!

Mission Statement

Our mission at the TLF Scholarship Foundation is to foster trust, love, and family through the power of sport. We believe in the transformative potential of volleyball to build strong, resilient individuals and communities. We are committed to providing financial support to athletes in need, enabling them to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. We strive to create a nurturing environment where our scholarship recipients feel valued, supported, and part of a larger family. Our foundation is built on trust, ensuring that our resources are used responsibly and effectively to benefit our athletes. We love what we do, and we are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young athletes and their families. Together, we are more than a foundation; we are a family united by our love for serving and empowering young female athletes by using the vehicle of volleyball and building on our commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

What you need to know about the event

  1. It’s a party, and admission is FREE!
  2. Live music & FREE beer!
  3. The event will take place on April 26th 5:00-9:00pm at Special Olympics Michigan (160 68th St. SW)
  4. Donations at the door are welcomed and encouraged! All donations can be tax donations as the foundation is a 501(c)(3).

How you can help us

  1. RSVP to the Evite here, and share it with anyone you think would want to join!
  2. We are looking for contacts of companies or personal donors who you think might be interested in donating to the foundation! (See sponsorship levels below)
  3. If you know anyone with connections in the beer or snack industry who would be interested in donating those supplies, please contact val@faroutvolleyball.com 
  4. Silent Auction Gift Baskets: We are looking for 10+ gift baskets to be donated. If you are interested in making one individually or as a team, please contact val@faroutvolleyball.com 
  5. Cornhole sets– if you have one, we would love to borrow it for the day!
  6. Volunteers for set up/tear down

Personal & Corporate Sponsorship Levels

Platinum: $500 and up

  • Includes: Logo on the 2024 Summer Camp t-shirt, logo or family name on the website, logo on all signage associated with the Beerfest event, and any other FaR Out events through 2024.

Gold: $250 and up

  • Includes: Logo/family name on the website, logo or family name on all signage associated with the Beerfest event, and any other FaR Out events through 2024.

Silver: $100 and up

  • Logo/family name on all signage associated with the Beerfest event

 

Without the strength of our FaR Out Volleyball Club families, none of this can be possible. Anyone from any FaR Out family is welcome to attend this celebration, and do not hesitate to branch out to invite anyone you think might enjoy themselves! We would be grateful if any of our former members could return to witness the club’s growth since its inception.
