After a successful high school and college career, Steenhuysen began coaching right out of college. Roxane has over 1,000 high school victories under her leadership, along with 2 state titles and multiple final four appearances. After retiring from coaching in 2009, she has dedicated more time to the development of FaR Out. As the financial director, Roxane takes care of all the back end that creates a successful environment for her coaches to coach and the athletes to reach their potential. Part of her responsibilities include hosting events for the club, taking care of all the gear, and day to day business operations. Roxane has been married to Joe for almost 35 years, has 2 adult daughters, welcomed their first grandchild in 2021 and look forward to their second to be born this summer. In her free time, she jets to Florida whenever possible, enjoys the water and spending time with her grandson Ollie!
