Jordyn Gates, first year coach.
Gates is coaching FaR Out at the regional level this year. Gates attended Grand Rapids Christian where she helped her team achieve two state championship titles from the setting position, as well as being named a 2020 Miss Volleyball finalist. Her first two collegiate years were spent at Arkansas university, and she is now using her third year of eligibility at Grand Valley State University where she recently led the nation in triple doubles. She was also named to the 2022 GLIAC all-conference first team. Along with coaching for the club, Gates played on the FaR Out 18 black national team for two years and served as an intern for the club her senior year.
