Helmus has coached FaR Out at the local level for two years, and will be joining the state level in 2025. Before stepping into the world of coaching, Helmus started her playing career at FaR Out from 2009 to 2011. She also gained four years of experience while playing at South Christian High School (2012-2014) as an outside hitter.
