Katie Lutjens, 6th year coach.
Lutjens has coached FaR Out for two years at the local level, as well as 2 year at the regional level. The 2026 season will be her second year at the national level coaching alongside Alan Kaufman. She graduated from Catholic Central in 2019 after playing for four years, and was also a FaR Out athlete from 2013 to 2019. Lutjens coached the Catholic Central varsity team as an assistant in 2020, then coached the Catholic Central freshman team as an assistant in 2021 and as the head coach in 2022. Lutjens is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, and is in her first year of teaching.
